So, you may be wondering: How could Ghostbsuters: The Video Game be rated for PS3 today when it’s already on the PlayStation 3. Well, we’re about to tell you.
In 2009, Ghostbusters: The Video Game was released on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable. Today, the Entertainment Software Rating Board listed the game as E10+ (it was originally rated T at launch) for the PlayStation 3. The only logical explanation for this would be that the PlayStation 2 version will be available on the PlayStation Store as a PlayStation 2 Classic.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. A few months ago, SCEA released Stuntman: Ignition on the PlayStation Store as a PS2 Classic, despite a PS3 version of the game already being in existence.
There has been no formal announcement of this game coming to PSN, but look for it on the PlayStation Store in the coming weeks.
