Having been in development hell for the longest, has Sony abandoned The Last Guardian?
A status update on website ‘Trademarkia suggests that The Last Guardian’s trademark has been abandoned. Under the title’s filing, this statement can be read: “On Monday, August 6, 2012, status on the The Last Guardian trademark changed to Abandoned – No Statement of Use Filed.”
Just recently Sony’s Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida stated that the title was still in development. This, however, raises more questions as to whether this title is being cancelled or even furthermore delayed until next generation perhaps.
