We all have those memorable tunes from video games that can’t manage to get out of our heads. Like Nintendo’s brawler, PS All-Stars should incorporate those tunes from Sony’s video game history. With that in mind, I have compiled a list of songs I want to hear while brawling with my favorite PlayStation characters!
5. Sly Cooper’s Main Theme
That classy, spy sounding track from the Sly series. How many of us can forget this thievish raccoon and his many tales? How about that awesome theme song? Its for that reason that this sexy tune should make it into the game.
4. Patapon 2 Theme
As annoying as this damn song is, we cannot admit having sang that catchy “Pata, Pata, Pata, Patapon!” line from this title’s theme. While the updated version in Patapon 3 is a lot more bearable, let’s face it – we want something along the lines of catchy to represent these odd little creatures.
3. Twisted Metal 2012 Main Theme
This heavy metal, blaring track will leave many players anxious to kick some PlayStation All-Star ass! When I first heard this track on the newest entry to the Twisted Metal franchise, I went out and actually purchased it from the soundtrack. I know for damn sure I would love to fight with this track playing in the back.
2. God of War Main Theme
This dramatic tune will build up a lot of tension in preparing up for the fight, and once the battle begins alongside the track’s drop, this would make for a very intense fight between the many PlayStation All-Stars. This would have been number one had it not been for what is to come…
1. Nate’s Theme 1, 2 & 3.0
Can any PlayStation fan not recognize this song? This track has become iconic with the Uncharted franchise, changing it up slightly between the three titles. I’d much rather a remix, blending the three versions together, but as long as this song is in PS All-Stars I’ll be more than satisfied.
