DC Universe Online just keeps rolling out the content!
Sony Online Entertainment has announced DC Universe Online: Hand of Fate, the action MMO’s fifth expansion pack since it’s January 2011 release. The expansion pack will pit Dr. Fate and heroes against Felix Faust and his villainous companions in the tale of magic.
Hand of Fate will introduce a new missions mode: Operations. Operations is similar to raids and alerts but will be set in the open world. A team of eight players can team up to take on the difficult challenges or they can split up to handle the more typical ones. There will be 60 new open world missions Game Update 17 will sport a new map UI which will be useful for players who purchase the expansion pack.
There will be a surprise for villainous players. Since the game’s release, many players have spoken up about being forced to team up with heroes to take down Brainiac. Hand of Fate will allow evil players to be evil.
DC Universe Online: Hand of Fate will be available for download on the PlayStation Network late September.
