Readers know I’m generally excited for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. After getting my hands on it at NYCC this past weekend, that excitement only sky-rocketed. Imagine how I felt when I found out the public beta will be starting tomorrow! Read on for the details!
With the game scheduling to release in a little more than a month, SuperBot is finally letting the majority play the game a tad earlier. For PlayStation Plus users the beta will launch tomorrow, October 16, 2012. For all other PlayStation 3 players, the beta will start on October 23, 2012. PlayStation Vita players are in for a special treat, with the beta launching on the PS Vita’s store tomorrow without the need of PlayStation Plus. The beta will end October 30, 2012.
The beta is pretty limited with the following characters being playable – Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper, Colonel Radec, PaRappa the Rapper and Fat Princess. Playable stages include Metropolis and Hades, with game modes including 4-player tournaments and 2v2 tournaments. Friend invites are supported, so gather up some buddies to take the fun online!
