Grand Theft Auto V Pushed Back To September 17

Originally slated to be released this Spring, Grand Theft Auto V has been delayed and will be released on September 17.

Rockstar stated in a press release that the game was pushed back in order to polish it up.

“Grand Theft Auto V continues to push the series forward in new ways; Rockstar North are creating our deepest, most beautiful and most immersive world yet,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months.”

Some of Rockstar’s biggest titles – Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, Max Payne – have been released in the fall and it would seem as though GTA V is breaking the cycle. While it could be coincidental, with many reports of next-gen consoles being released later this year, could we see Grand Theft Auto V release simultaneously on the PlayStation 4?
