Legendary professional wrestler Bruno Sammartino has confirmed that he has agreed to appear in a WWE video game.
On the NB Show with Nick Buzzeli and Bryan Checack, WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino has confirmed that he will be in a WWE video game, when laying out details of his involvement with WWE.
“Here is what I agreed with them on.” Bruno said, “They are going to do a video game on me, they are going to do some DVDs of my best matches and all that kind of stuff.”
This is amazing news considering WWE have spent the last few years reaching out to Sammartino with an offer in to their Hall of Fame, which he’s rejected numerous times up until this year. Bruno Sammartino is the longest reigning WWE Champion in history, holding the title from 1963 to 1971, and has a total of 4,040 days as champion.
Bruno Sammartino did not specify that the game is WWE 2K14, but it’s safe to assume that it is the game he’s agree to appear in. The video interview is below (skip to 4:35).
