Tekken Game Director Katsuhiro Harada Reportedly “Missing From Office”

[Update: 3:41 AM, 6/5/2013]

The Tekken Support Team tweeted the following from Harada’s twitter account.

There appear to be some news articles worrying for Harada-san’s safety. However, we were able to confirm he has been logged into Steam daily, so we believe he is OK, but just has not shown up for work.

[Original story]

At midnight today, the Tekken support team tweeted from Katsuhiro Harada’s twitter account claiming he had been “missing from office” for a week and they are currently looking for him.

Harada is the head of the Tekken project and has been in charge of the series in its 19 year history. Given the time of year, with E3 less than a week away, it’s a little sketchy on whether or not this is true or false (we hope it’s false)

*This is TEKKEN Project support team* Mr.Harada has been missing from office since a week ago. We are still searching for him. Thanks.

The Tekken team are currently developing Tekken X Street Fighter, which hasn’t been shown to the public since its announcement in 2010. Check back to iGo Gaming for further developments!
