Batman: Arkham Asylum. Batman: Arkham City. Now, WB Montreal takes on the origins of Batman and his foes in Batman: Arkham Origins.
I was fortunate enough to interview Creative Director Eric Holmes on the development of upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins. Answering a few questions, Eric Holmes describes the difficulty it was deciding on the new voice actors for the game’s main characters. Stating that it was becoming a difficulty on a technical standpoint due to the team needing to start recording.
Eric Holmes also describes knowing where he wanted to head with this title, in the prequel territory, but states that doing a prequel was not the only thing he aimed to do. Citing “Legends of the Dark Knight,” Eric wanted to tell a tale of a Batman making mistakes and interacting with such iconic characters for the first time, and even describes the process of picking those characters for this game.
